This privacy policy defines the way in which VADE uses and protects the data that you provide us, if any, when you use this site accessible from the URL www.vadesecure.com/en/ (hereinafter, the “Site”).

It may be modified or supplemented at any time by VADE, in particular with a view to complying with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technological development. In such a case, the date of its update will be noted at the top of this policy. These changes are binding upon the User as soon as they are posted online. VADE therefore invites the User to regularly consult this Privacy Policy in order to be aware of any changes.

1.   Personal data

You have the option to browse the Site without disclosing any personal information about yourself. However, if you choose to do so, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services.

Some personal data will be requested if you complete a form on the Site (name, surname, email address, telephone number, etc., hereinafter your “Personal Data”). By providing this information, you expressly agree that it will be processed by VADE for the purposes indicated in section 1.2. below and, if applicable, only for the purposes set out at the end of each form.

We do not collect any personal data without your knowledge or prior consent. Only personal data provided voluntarily will be collected. This is data that we are committed to protecting in an optimal security environment.

In addition, we do not collect or process sensitive personal data that directly or indirectly reveals your racial or ethnic origin, your political, philosophical or religious opinions, your trade union membership, your health, or your sexual life.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, in force as of May 25, 2018 in all countries of the European Union, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to under the initials “GDPR”), and the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978 amended, VADE informs you of the following:

1.2.  Purposes of processing

VADE may process your Personal Data for the following purpose(s):

  • Provision of information or services that you have requested (in particular via the various forms of the Site);
  • Improvement of the Site, our products, and our services (including cookies);
  • Contact to offer you services and offers adapted to your interests;
  • Sharing information on social networks.

 

1.3.  Recipients

VADE is the sole recipient of your Personal Data. This data, whether in individual or aggregated form, is never transmitted to a third party, notwithstanding the subcontractors whom VADE uses. Neither VADE, nor any of its subcontractors, sell the personal data of visitors and users of the Site.

 

1.4.  Length of data retention

VADE only retains your Personal Data for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose of collection. In no event may it exceed 3 years.

 

1.5.  Information rights and Freedom

1.5.1.  Right of access and communication of data

You have the right to access the Personal Data that concerns you. To do this, simply ask us for a copy of all the Personal Data we have about you.

VADE informs you that it shall be entitled, if necessary, to refuse manifestly abusive requests (by their number, their repetitive or systematic nature).

1.5.2.   Right to rectify your data

You have the right to request the rectification, updating, blocking, or the deletion of the data concerning you, which you can show to be inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or obsolete, as the case may be.

1.6.  Response times

VADE undertakes to respond to your requests for access, rectification or opposition or any other request for additional information within a reasonable period of time, which may not exceed one month from the receipt of your request.

 

1.7.  Authorized service providers and transfer to a non-member country of the European Union

VADE informs you that it uses its authorized service providers to facilitate the collection and processing of the data that you have communicated to us. These providers may be located outside the European Union and may be able to share the data collected through the forms on the Site.

Similarly, some VADE subsidiaries are located outside the European Union.

VADE has received advance assurance of the implementation by its subsidiaries and service providers of adequate guarantees and compliance with strict conditions regarding confidentiality, use and data protection. In particular, vigilance was centered on the existence of a legal basis for any data transfer to a non-member country of the EU (such as Binding Corporate Rules or Privacy Shield).

2.   Cookie Policy

When you first log on to the VADE Site, a banner alerts you that information about your browsing may be stored in cookie files. You will find below information about the cookies on our Site, their purpose, and methods for cookie settings.

 

2.1.  General information about the cookies on the Site

VADE, as publisher of the Site, uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that make it possible to recognize your computer, your tablet, or your cell phone in order personalize the services we offer.

The information collected through cookies does not in any way identify you by name. It is issued for our own purposes only and is never passed on to third parties unless you have previously consented to it or when the disclosure of such information is required by law, by order of a court or any administrative or judicial authority empowered to do know it.
