Boston, July 16th 2020 - The world leader in predictive email defense, Vade Secure (Headquarters: Lille, France) will begin its full-scale business for companies in Japan using Microsoft 365. Vade Secure has concluded sales agreements with IIM Corporation, SYNNEX Japan Corporation, and Takachiho Koheki Co, Ltd. for sales of its AI-based threat detection solution for Microsoft 365, Vade Secure for Microsoft 365.
Vade Secure offers a predictive email defense solution that detects new types of attacks and targeted threats such as phishing, spear phishing, malware, and ransomware. The company protects more than 1 billion mailboxes in 76 countries, using an AI engine constructed from data collected from mailboxes to detect threats. They provide content filters to telecommunications carriers and Internet service providers (ISPs) to protect their email services from cyberattacks, and they sell Vade Secure for Microsoft 365 to companies using Microsoft 365. With the establishment of a Japan subsidiary in July 2016 and the opening of the Email Threat Center, they have been focused on developing their business for telecommunications carriers and ISPs, and they are utilized by many email services.
In recent years, Microsoft 365 has become a major target for cyberattack due to the fact that this one application has more than 250 million users. Often, phishing and other email threats serve as an entry point for further cyberattacks, so security measures are becoming increasingly important. Vade Secure’s business for domestic companies using Microsoft 365 will use the distribution network of each sales agent to offer Vade Secure for Microsoft 365 to companies using Microsoft 365. Vade Secure for Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based solution that uses Microsoft-provided APIs to enhance email security without changing the familiar Outlook user experience and without needing to install anything in the company’s environment. The real-time anti-phishing measures, banner-based anti-spear phishing measures and behavior-based anti-malware measures that make use of the AI engine provide functions to prevent threats before, during, and after an attack.
